Meet the shadowy technical, writing and production team working behind the scenes.

 

Joe Stella
Director, Writer

Joe hails from UNSW revues and is a two-time Raw Comedy state finalist. He joined Comicide in 2008 and soon became one of its most prolific writers and performers. In 2009, Joe produced Comicide’s Festival show, and in 2010 has graduated to directing. When he’s not on stage, Joe writes for news satire website The Daily Grind.

Hannah Bath
Assistant Director

During the day, she’s Hannah Bath, mild-mannered marketing officer, but nights and weekends see her transform into her acting/directing/writing alter ego, Hannah Bath, who studied acting at Wesley Institute and writing/directing at AFTRS.

Jebediah Cole
Writer, DJ, National Sales & Marketing Manager

Jebediah started out in Comicide in 2008 and rapidly became one of its most prolific writers. In 2009, he directed the group’s second Melbourne show, Laugh Without Parole. This year, he returns to Melbourne selling up a storm as National Sales & Marketing Manager and laying down the phat tracks as the show’s resident DJ.

Pete Davies
Writer

Pete is a Comicide veteran and fixture of the UNSW and Macquarie University comedy scenes. You can catch Pete on stage this year at Orange Adventure in the Kaleide Theatre.

Nick Foran
Writer, Vocals

Singer-songwriter Nick Foran has been a part of Comicide since 2008 and has also appeared in revues, Theatresports, music festivals and Saturday Disney. For music and video of Nick, visit his website.

AJ Tennant
Writer

AJ Tennant is a writer, performer, copywriter and future social worker. His work includeds Ronnie Johns, That’s Why Your Single and Gangs of Oz, where he died a horrible horrible death. You can catch AJ on stage this year at Orange Adventure in the Kaleide Theatre.

Adam Yardley
Writer

Adam Yardley is a theatrical powerhouse, featuring in Comicide, Blank! The Musical and Theatresports.

Nick Daly
Production team

Nick developed his taste for comedy through his involvement in the UNSW comedy society and the UNSW revue scene. In 2007 Nick produced the improvisation show Impro Royale, which featured many of the founding members of Comicide.
